Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actor, comedian and activist After emigrating to America, she was born in Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her first professional work was as an actor for children. Her most well-known work is her appearances in AT&T television commercials. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and 2020 (since 2020). In addition to commercial appearances, she was an actor in the series on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also played the role of a regular character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. After being featured in the TV pilot unaired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also plays Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub is a Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native, and also is a Jew. Her parents and her fled antisemitism at the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. Because of financial struggles within the family, she started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was just five years old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. However, she quit the school in her sophomore year. She was able to get a GED and later was able to earn a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from the University of California San Diego. As part of the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied improv comedy.
